DealStreetAsia reported the target-beat on Tuesday from the firm\u2019s announcement. The Business Times and The Star independently printed the same exceedance. DealStreetAsia was explicit that the firm did not disclose the exact amount raised. Do not invent a final close.<\/p>\n<p>New commitments came from DBS Private Bank, a major insurer, and other institutional investors, DealStreetAsia and The Business Times both said. They join existing backers Temasek, through Aranda Principal Strategies; Malaysia\u2019s Khazanah Nasional; and the Indonesia Investment Authority. Coverage does not agree on the DBS ticket in U.S. dollars versus Singapore dollars. Skip the dollar figure. Name DBS Private Bank as a new investor.<\/p>\n<p>The Business Times said this follows an earlier close of US$350 million in December 2025. Since launch, Libra Hybrid has completed eight transactions and two exits, with distributions already made to investors, DealStreetAsia and The Business Times both reported. Sector exposure includes advanced manufacturing, consumer, and healthcare. Portfolio companies were not named.<\/p>\n<p>Granite Asia, formerly GGV Capital Asia, manages more than US$10 billion across venture, growth equity, and private credit, DealStreetAsia said. Ming Eng, managing partner and head of the private-credit strategy, framed demand as mid-market companies seeking capital for expansion, supply-chain work, and technology upgrades. Jenny Lee, senior managing partner, called private credit a natural extension of the equity platform.<\/p>\n<p>The object is a target-beat, not a numbered final close. Allocators should keep the US$500 million as a floor the firm says it has crossed, keep the December US$350 million as the prior close, and keep the eight deals and two exits as the only activity print.
