HedgeCo.Net \u2014 Yardstik said Thursday it had raised $30 million in Series B funding led by Harbert Growth Partners, taking total capital raised to $65 million. The PR Newswire release is the primary. Pivot News independently reported the same $30 million Series B, the same $65 million cumulative, and the same Harbert lead, citing coverage that tracked the announcement.<\/p>\n

Existing investors Rally Ventures, MissionOG, Crosslink Capital, Grotech Ventures, and Great North Ventures all participated. Minneapolis-based Yardstik sells what it calls a Human Trust Platform that combines background screening, identity verification, fraud detection, and continuous post-hire monitoring. Proceeds will fund motor vehicle reports, OIG exclusion monitoring, and automated alerts when licenses, insurance, or certifications lapse, the company said.<\/p>\n

CEO Andrew Johnson said the capital accelerates moving workforce protection beyond a single hire-day check. Harbert Growth Partners general partner Brian Carney cited a 98% account retention rate over the past three years. The company also pointed to 149% year-over-year revenue growth and a 99.4% customer satisfaction rating. Those are company metrics, not audited fund returns.<\/p>\n

The allocator object is a Series B growth check into post-hire workforce risk software, not a private credit vehicle. Anyone marking the $65 million figure as the new round size alone has conflated cumulative capital with the fresh $30 million.
