The EQT release carried on PR Newswire is the primary. Third News independently printed the same close, the same Coller EQT branding, and the same post-deal AUM figures.<\/p>\n<p>Base consideration is USD 3.2 billion on a cash-and-debt-free basis, paid largely in 80,360,882 newly issued EQT ordinary shares, about 7% of shares outstanding. Contingent consideration of up to USD 500 million is tied to Coller Capital\u2019s business performance in the twelve months through March 2029, with a large share of that earnout earmarked for management reinvestment into EQT shares. EQT acquires 100% of the Coller management company and GP entities that control the Coller funds, plus 10% of carried interest in Coller International Partners IX, and will be entitled to 35% of carry in future closed-ended Coller funds.<\/p>\n<p>Post-close, EQT\u2019s total assets under management stand at \u20ac341 billion, including \u20ac186 billion of fee-generating AUM, with a combined evergreen platform above \u20ac10 billion of net asset value. Coller EQT will report as a new Secondaries segment alongside Private Capital, Infrastructure, and Real Estate, adding nine strategies across private equity and credit secondaries. Jeremy Coller becomes Head and CIO of Coller EQT and joins EQT\u2019s Executive Committee. The firm cited Evercore\u2019s H1 2026 Secondary Market Review for more than $120 billion of secondaries volume in the first half, the strongest first half on record.<\/p>\n<p>The January 22 agreement is now a closed book, not a signing.
