HedgeCo.Net \u2014 Advent International announced on September 17 a definitive agreement to invest ?3,150 crore of primary capital into India\u2019s Yatharth Hospitals for an expected 24.9% stake on completion, according to the firm\u2019s release. Reuters put the check at $328.53 million and reported Yatharth shares rose as much as 8.6% to an all-time high of 1,067 rupees on the announcement. The promoter Tyagi family remains the largest shareholder, and the deal is subject to customary closing conditions.<\/p>\n

Reuters said Yatharth operates nine multi-specialty hospitals with about 2,800 operational beds and plans to increase capacity to about 3,250. CNBC-TV18 coverage of the share move and shareholding change is consistent with the primary-capital and warrants framing on the Advent tape.<\/p>\n

This is a signed minority primary investment, not a control take-private.
