To some fund managers (hedge fund news), it may sound like the equivalent of moving into retail wealth management. Still, Reuters reports that more hedge fund managers are considering joining family offices, despite an initial cut in pay. Large family offices have apparently stepped up efforts to recruit fund managers from hedge funds to serve as direct managers and seers of outside investments. This is happening at the really high end right now.
