Press release – TFG Systems, a leading provider of real time risk and portfolio management software to hedge funds, announced today that Ovington Capital (Ovington), a London based firm specialising in G-7 fixed income trading strategies, have selected TFG Complete to provide them with real-time risk, portfolio and cash management services.
Curtis Adams, the former head of Mizuho Corporate Bank’s diversified trading group, runs the team at Ovington. The fund required a robust, institutional grade platform that was a full trade life cycle system capable of providing a complete suite of real time risk metrics including VaR. TFG utilises the latest technology to provide trade workflow, cash management, and multiple reconciliations, which enables NAV calculation and complete P&L attribution. The technology allows real time P&L and risk monitoring, including VaR, stress testing and scenario analysis.
The implementation at Ovington was completed within three months including data integration with SIX Telekurs, the third largest provider of financial information in Europe, for real-time and historical data enabling Ovington to have independent live valuations.
Curtis Adams, CEO, Ovington Capital said, “We believe that the choice of service provider for risk management systems can be integral to the success of many new companies. We selected TFG for their superior software and their ability to provide an integrated platform through a hosted solution. We look forward to developing a dynamic partnership.”
Martin Toyer, CEO, TFG Systems said, “We are delighted that a fund with a management team as highly experienced as Ovington’s has selected TFG Complete as its trading and risk management platform. We are looking forward to working with Ovington, and providing the high standard of service our clients have come to expect.”
