The Tally – Women hedge fund managers wanting to climb to the top of their profession might want to avoid London and look further east, according to data published earlier this month by Preqin.
As the below chart shows, Hong Kong leads the pack when it comes to gender diversity at C-level in hedge funds. Women fill 12.7% of C-level positions at at single-manager hedge funds. Fund of hedge funds in Hong Kong show a stronger balance between the sexes, with women employed in 27.8% of C-level roles.
