(FINalternatives) Spinnaker Capital managing director Bradley Wickens is leaving Spinnaker Capital to form his own company. Wickens is a portfolio manager and founding member of the London-based company’s management team. Spinnaker manages approximately $1.7 billion focused primarily on emerging markets, investing in all classes of sovereign and corporate securities and related products.
Wickens will form his new firm, named Broad Reach Investment Management, with his own capital and that of two Spinnaker partners, according to a Reuters article citing four individuals with direct knowledge of the matter. The firm will also concentrate on emerging markets but will reportedly trade a wider range of assets and investment classes as part of a broader global macro overlay.
