BusinessWeek – Albert Ee, a former managing director of Millennium Management LLC’s Asian business, said he plans to start in May a hedge fund that will profit from bets on broad economic trends in Asia.
Singapore-based Pilgrim Partners Asia Pte will start managing about $28 million, of which half will comprise assets in the macro hedge fund and the remainder will be managed accounts for institutions, Ee said in an interview.
