(Reuters) – Hedge fund WorldQuant hired computer scientist Yoram Singer, a former principal scientist at Google (GOOGL.O), as its chief AI scientist as Wall Street races to use machine learning to decipher trading signals, a person familiar with the matter said on Thursday.
