Carlyle Is Sued by Liquidators of Firm’s Hedge Fund

WSJ – Carlyle Group is being sued by liquidators of the buyout firm’s hedge fund Carlyle Capital Corp., or CCC, which collapsed in March 2008 following ill-timed investments in the mortgage-bond market, a spokesman for the liquidators told Dow Jones Newswires on Wednesday.

CCC was put into liquidation in March 2008, and Alan Roberts and Neil Mather, from Begbies Traynor, were appointed joint liquidators.
