(Opalesque) Austin-based Vista Equity Partners has raised $850m for a fund that the private equity giant plans to use to buy up fast-growing software companies. Vista Equity Partners said that its Endeavor Fund II will focus on enterprise software companies with between $10m and $30m in annual revenue. Those companies will then have access to Vista’s 125 in-house consultants, who will work to grow the businesses, Vista Equity said.
