AP – Four government watchdog groups are criticizing Rhode Island Treasurer Gina Raimondo for withholding details about the state’s investments in hedge funds.
The state affiliates of the American Civil Liberties Union and Common Cause, as well as the Rhode Island Press Association and the League of Women Voters, wrote to Raimondo’s office Wednesday to express concerns about her office’s decision not to disclose some information about hedge fund operations.
