Both of them had a rough start to 2014 and sold the bulk of their positions in Apple AAPL +0.28% in the first quarter. Now, they’re back.
There was a time a few years ago that Apple was by far the most popular stock among hedge fund managers. It became less prevalent in hedge fund portfolios in the last year or so, but in the second quarter of 2014 some closely-watched hedge fund manages feasted on Apple’s stock.
