New York (HedgeCo.Net) – The woman who claimed to have a long list of hedge fund clients and connections in high places has pleaded guilty to a single count of promoting prostitution.
Anna Gristina has accepted a plea deal including probation which will keep her out of jail and with her 4 children. She could have spent up to seven years in prison if convicted.
The Scottish born “Manhattan Madam” was arrested after a undercover sting operation. She had previously insisted on her innocence. Gristina was arrested February 22 as she left Morgan Stanley, she spent four months in prison before being released on $250,000 bond in June.
