Buzzfeed – Carl Icahn, the billionaire investor who’s been fighting a buyout of Dell by co-founder Michael Dell and Silver Lake Partners for most of this year, has given up.
Icahn, in an open letter to fellow shareholders today, said he chose to end the battle after a Delaware court ruled that Dell and its board ran a fair process, despite a number of delays on a vote for the transaction.
