Herald Tribune – The latest salvo from U.S. attorneys comes in response to a claim by Nadel’s federal defenders that his hedge-fund partners, Neil and Christopher Moody, were key to setting up and attracting investors to the Sarasota-based funds.
While not directly accusing the Moodys of criminal conduct, defense attorneys Colleen Cassidy and Mark Gombiner questioned in a federal court filing last week why only Nadel, and not his partners, faces serious prison time.
