Hedge Fund Mergers & Acquisitions: Englander Alaris Prime Services

New York (HedgeCo.net) –  Israel A. Englander & Co., has acquired hedge fund services company, Alaris Trading Partners LLC (pending FINRA approval). The members of both firms have signed definitive agreements creating the new entity Englander Alaris Prime Services, a division of I.A. Englander & Co.

The combined entity, Englander Alaris Prime Services, will offer custodial services through Goldman Sachs Execution & Clearing, JP Morgan, Merrill Pro and MF Global. The new firm will also offer capital introductions services for established and emerging managers, among other services.

Alaris Prime Services was top-ranked in Global Custodian Magazine’s 2010 Prime Brokerage Survey.

Israel A. Englander & Co, Inc. operates as a derivatives brokerage company in the United States. It offers derivative products, such as floor execution, structured, SPX and index options, and exchange traded hedge funds and equity derivatives.
