The Telegraph – The doorstep lender issued a positive trading update that stated that sales for the 12 weeks since the start of September were up 7pc on the same time last year and the business was on track for a “good 2010”.
Analysts had feared thatĀ Provident’s customers, over half of which receive state benefits, would be squeezed in the wake of theĀ Coalition’s Spending Review and in the tough credit environment.
