Journal Sentinel – Milwaukee’s U.S. Bancorp Fund Services LLC, which handles back-office and administrative tasks for mutual funds and other financial industry businesses, said Wednesday it plans to acquire a hedge fund administrator in Ireland.
Financial terms of the acquisition of Quintillion Limited, of Dublin, weren’t disclosed. The purchase of Quintillion will add $18 billion to funds under administration for U.S. Bancorp Fund Services and is in line with its strategy of expanding in the alternative investment market in Europe.
