Fund Strategy – Nearly 25% of new hedge funds launched in the third quarter have been Ucits III, according to data released today by Hedge Fund Research.
Ucits III versions of hedge funds are becoming increasingly popular among investors as they incorporate liquidity requirements, restrictions on instruments and leverage. They also emphasise the role of the local market regulator.
