Professional Pensions – Hewitt Associates has reported a doubling in the number of hedge fund manager searches during 2009 in comparison with the previous year.
The consultant said the hedge fund industry had been hit by significant redemptions from investors from late 2008 to early 2009 – resulting in a number of fund closures.
