Telegraph – The so-called “shadow banking system” comprising hedge funds, insurers and brokers will be looked at by the ICB, which on Friday released a discussion paper outlining the areas its report will look at.
Shadow banking is potentially seen as one of the most important issues as the ICB investigates ways of reducing the likelihood of a future financial crisis, as well as improving competition.
