Forbes – The board of directors of Alaska Air Group made a statement of support for chief executive Bill Ayer late yesterday, after Bloomberg News reported earlier in the day Ayer is the subject of a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation.
Bloomberg reported that the SEC is probing whether Ayer and hedge fund Donald Smith & Co. were involved in insider trading in Puget Energy.
