Press Release – Butterfield Fulcrum, a top five independent global hedge fund administration company, today announced the appointment of Edwin Parker as Director of Business Development for the EMEA region. Edwin will start in February 2011 and be based in the London office, which has recently relocated to Mayfair . Edwin will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships to strengthen and expand Butterfield Fulcrum’s client base throughout Europe and its surrounding emerging markets.
Edwin will work closely with Mark Boyes who joined Butterfield Fulcrum earlier this year as Director, EMEA Business Development; both hires reflect the increasing interest being shown in the global fund administrator’s services by managers and asset allocators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa .
Edwin joins Butterfield Fulcrum from SS&C where he served as a business development manager. He was instrumental in establishing SS&C’s fund administration business within Europe and went on to hold a number of roles within the company.
