Terra Partners Hires Belgrade Hedge Fund Analyst

People Moves –  Frontier market-focused hedge fund manager Terra Partners Group has hired Danijela Mirkov-Arkula as an analyst in Belgrade, Serbia to increase Terra’s coverage of Eastern European companies with an emphasis on the Balkan region.

“From the inception of our first fund we have strongly believed that the very inefficiencies in frontier markets that make them such compelling opportunities absolutely require on-the-ground analysts,” said Howard Golden, co-founder and Chairman of Terra Partners. “The ability to gather the requisite financial and corporate information beyond what is available in the financial reports is critical to managing the risk inherent in frontier markets.”

Ms. Mirkov-Arkula gained her Bachelors in Economics from the Faculty of Economics Novi Sad, University of Subotica in Serbia, her MBA from Switzerland’s Institut Universitaire Kurt Bösch and is a licensed insolvency administrator by the Serbian government.
