(Bloomberg) Joseph Samuels, head of U.S. equities trading at Och-Ziff Capital Management Group LLC, left the firm, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
Samuels, 41, an executive managing director, departed on Tuesday after 13 years at the hedge-fund firm, said the people, who declined to be identified discussing the moves. Rob Johnson, the firm’s lead trader in Europe, and Elan Luger, a senior trader, are taking over for Samuels, one of the people said.
