Cheyne Capital Raised £3 Billion for Its Ninth Real Estate Credit Programme

HedgeCo.Net — Cheyne Capital completed fundraising of £3 billion across its ninth-vintage Cheyne Real Estate Credit Holdings (CRECH) IX Capital Solutions fund and adjacent vehicles, according to September 23, 2026 coverage from Alternative Credit Investor and CRE Herald. More than half of committed capital was already deployed into European real-estate loans at the time of the reports.

Coverage cited 73 underlying loans, of which 16 had been realised, across geographies including the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Sweden, and Belgium. The close marks the ninth vintage of Cheyne’s European real estate lending strategy.

For allocators tracking European real-estate private credit, the hard marks are the £3 billion raise across CRECH IX Capital Solutions and adjacent vehicles, >50% already deployed, 73 loans / 16 realised, the named European geographies, and ninth-vintage framing. Do not invent leverage limits, LP names, or strategy IRRs beyond what the sources published.
