Nauta Capital Reached a €60 Million First Close for Fund VI With the British Business Bank as Anchor

HedgeCo.Net — Nauta Capital announced a €60 million first close for its sixth fund, Nauta Tech Invest VI, on October 15, 2026. The British Business Bank is the anchor limited partner with a €30 million commitment—half of the first close—and this is the bank’s fourth consecutive Nauta fund. Other early LPs include SETT, Merifin Capital and Institut Català de Finances, plus institutions and family offices across the UK, Continental Europe, LatAm and the Middle East.

Three-quarters of first-close investors are repeat LPs. The firm is targeting a final size of €150 million to €200 million in the second half of 2027, which it said would bring total assets under management close to €750 million. Fund VI will back European B2B software and deeptech companies from pre-seed to Series A, including capital-efficient vertical software and, through Nauta Labs, pre-seed deeptech in areas such as HPC, AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, industrial automation, digital health infrastructure and energy frontier technology.

Nauta, with offices in London and Barcelona, said it has backed more than 200 founders across about 100 companies over two decades and generated nearly €3 billion of exit value through more than 25 exits. Portfolio examples cited with the raise include Universal Quantum, Lodgify, Unravel, Acai Travel and NetBird.

For European venture, an economic-development-bank anchor at half the first close is a structural signal: public capital is still willing to lead early closes for managers that keep a UK footprint and early-stage mandate. That can crowd in international LPs for the remaining raise into 2027.

General Partner Carles Ferrer Roqueta framed the sixth fund as continuity through successive technology cycles. Allocators will watch whether the firm hits the €150–200 million target on schedule and how much of Fund VI lands in deeptech versus classic B2B software.
