HedgeCo.Net — Registration is free. It covers news and the alternatives database through one of four roles: investor, fund manager, service provider, or news only. Existing members sign in; a new reader selects a role and begins with email confirmation.

Confirmation is a one-time link. The link does not contain a password. The confirmed address becomes the username. Only after that click does the form for the chosen role open.
An investor then finishes a request: name, firm, title, country, password, an accredited attestation or a News Only selection, newsletter radios, and terms. Individual fund records are not available at that moment. A person reviews the request. Self-attestation is not automatic access, and there is no phone-call gate. After submit, news and public aggregates are available. Individual fund records remain gated until the account is both approved and recorded as accredited. The approval email does not include a password.
A fund manager or service provider confirms email and then submits a listing. The listing is not live until it is approved. A news-only account may later request investor access from the same account.
