Morphotonics Closed More Than €40 Million Series B for Nanoimprint Tech

HedgeCo.Net — Dutch nanoimprint lithography company Morphotonics closed more than €40 million in an extended Series B announced around September 21–22, 2026, according to TechCrunch and Tech.eu. Backers named in the coverage include 3M Ventures, Innovation Industries, BOM, and Invest-NL, alongside the EIC Fund, Ernij Next, and the European Investment Bank.

Proceeds are earmarked to scale waveguide manufacturing for AI and AR glasses and to expand into co-packaged optics for data centers. Headcount is cited at roughly 60, up from about 30 in September 2024, with the next machine targeting more than 6 million waveguides per year.

For deep-tech and AR hardware allocators, the €40 million-plus Series B, the named European and corporate venture roster, and the waveguide / co-packaged-optics roadmap are the hard marks. Exact pre/post valuation and individual check sizes were not uniformly disclosed and should not be invented. Mark the manufacturing-capacity target and headcount step-up as sourced.
