WSJ – Todd Kaplan, head of hedge fund manager Citadel Investment Group’s investment banking unit, resigned from the firm Thursday, spokeswoman Devon Spurgeon said.
Citadel last May launched the investment banking business, called Citadel Securities, with much fanfare. The exit of Kaplan, whose hiring was also announced in May, is the third key departure from the unit since last October. Kaplan did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
