New York (HedgeCo.Net) – Florida’s former chief of the Bureau of Securities Regulation is joining the hedge fund regulatory compliance firm of Virginia-based Oyster Consulting.

In his new role as Associate Director, Bill Reilly will support broker/dealers, hedge funds and investment advisors with deep regulatory knowledge, expert testimony, and onsite and offsite examinations.

Reilly will also leverage his relationships with state and federal regulators and self-regulatory organizations when guiding clients through both proactive and reactive regulatory processes and compliance issues. He has over 30 years experience in the regulatory field.

During his tenure in Florida, Reilly developed award-winning electronic training programs and examination modules for use by state securities examiners and also served as liaison to the SEC, FINRA and state regulators nationwide.
