Feb. 11–OPEC MOVE TO BOOST GCC STOCKS: GCC stock markets are likely to have the wind in their sails this week thanks to Opec’s decision to cut oil production. Higher oil prices have underpinnedrecent stock market performance, and the Opec move should boost confidence sending markets higher, said analysts.

STANCHART, DIAMOND FUND: Standard Chartered Bank has launched its capital guaranteed Diamond Diversified series offering exposure to some of the world’s most popular hedge funds. Minimum investment is USD20,000 and capital is protected with a seven-year euro medium term note.

NBK, MYWATANI ONLINE: The National Bank of Kuwait has unveiled MyWatani Online, the first personalised bank website in the Middle East. This Net banking service allows customers to personalise the website, said Group General Manager of Consumer Banking Adel Al Majed.
