Veritas Asset Management unveils new Hedge Fund

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (www.hedgeco.net) – Veritas Asset Management has launched a new hedge fund; according to the report the new fund will concentrate trading activities predominantly in globalequities. The new fund will also trade interest rate and currencies according to the released information. The fund will be domiciled in Dublin and will be registered as an OEIC fund.

Portfolio manager, James Harries, will manage the new vehicle, the fund will aim at delivering absolute return and a growing level of income over the long run. Veritas Asset Management has four additional hedge fund portfolios, Veritas Global Focus Fund, the Veritas Asian Fund, the Real Return Global Fund and the Real Return Asian Fund.

Fee structure and minimum investment requirements were not immediately provided. The firm is targeting private clients as well as institutional investors, aiming to develop additional funds in the coming years.

Veritas Asset Management, is an investment vehicle of Stewart Newton and Charles Richardson, the firm oversees over �425 million in total assets for investors according to company information.
