New York Post – Raj Rajaratnam, the New York hedge fund billionaire on trial in Manhattan federal court on insider trading charges, is such a jokester that friends, colleagues and business executives talking with him shouldn’t believe everything he says, according to defense lawyers, who quizzed one witness yesterday on the subject.
Rajaratnam was merely joking when he told his close pal and Intel executive, Rajiv Goel, that he once gave two Intel tipsters BMWs, defense lawyer Terence Lyman said.
