New York (HedgeCo.net) – Jim Whitaker has been named head of Relationship Management for the Americas by the $390 billion BNY Mellon Alternative Investment Services (AIS).
Whitaker will oversee relationship management teams in the Americas across all AIS client segments – hedge funds, fund of hedge funds, prime custody and private equity administration.
He was most recently head of the alternative fund client management team and has previously held senior positions in the firm’s corporate restructuring and global client management groups.
Whitaker assumes a role held previously by Marina Lewin, who was recently named Global Head of Sales for AIS.
