CNBC – Former hedge fund consultant Danielle Chiesi, who has pleaded guilty to conspiracy and securities fraud in the Galleon insider trading case, is heard in a newly released audio recording telling her alleged co-conspirator Raj Rajaratnam that their activity is “a conquest” that is “mentally fabulous.”
The recording was played for jurors in the criminal trial of Rajaratnam, now in its fifth week. Rajaratnam faces 14 counts in what authorities have called the largest hedge fund insider trading case in history.
