EUROMONEY INSTITUTIONAL Investor has agreed to buy a publishing group for an initial pounds 11m. Hedge Fund Intelligence, which specialises in publishing newsletters and magazines about the hedgefund markets, was founded just five years ago by a husband and wife team, Iain and Suzie Jenkins. Mr Jenkins formerly worked for the Evening Standard and the Sunday Times. He plans to continue to runthe business from London as managing director. For the last full year to November 30, 2002, HFI made an audited profit of pounds 1m on turnover of pounds 2.4m.
