Fund of hedge funds manager Meridian Capital Partners has appointed Mark Gordon as a vice president and director of risk management on the company’s investment team. Gordon was previously chief risk officer for fixed income with AllianceBernstein. He will be responsible principally for quantitative risk management and research at manager and portfolio levels, reporting to Howard Fischer, a partner and the company’s director of research.
