City Wire – Matrix Asset Management has taken on the management of the Candela fund, previously run by Olympus Capital, as part of its strategy to attract mainstream hedge fund managers.
As part of the move, the fund has been renamed the Matrix Pan-European Equity fund, although it will continue to be managed by John Barden and Anthony McCarthy, who have run the product since inception in 2000.
