HedgeCo.Net — Centre Court Capital closed its maiden Category II AIF at ?410 crore (about $45.5 million per VCCircle), above an original ?350 crore target, according to The Hindu Business Line and VCCircle. The Parth Jindal-anchored vehicle, founded by general partner Mustafa Ghouse, had marked a first close of ?200 crore.
The fund targets sports, fitness, wellness and social gaming, planning roughly 15–18 investments with initial cheques of ?8–24 crore and an intent to lead or co-lead most deals, with reserves for follow-ons. Named LPs include SIDBI, the Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund, Premji Invest, SanRaj Group and GMR Sports, alongside athlete and entrepreneur backers such as Neeraj Chopra, Rishabh Pant, PV Sindhu, Jemimah Rodrigues, Binny Bansal, Mithun Sacheti and Ankit Nagori.
Coverage said the firm had already invested in six companies spanning sports tech, performance analytics, casual gaming and sports infrastructure.
For India sector-specialist VC trackers, the hard marks are the ?410 crore final close versus ?350 crore target, Parth Jindal anchor, 15–18 deal plan, ?8–24 crore cheque sizes, and named institutional/athlete LP roster.
