The Salt Lake Tribune – Overstock.com on has beefed up its lawsuit against a major hedge fund and a research firm accused by the online retailer of conspiring to drive down the company’s stock.
The Utah company claims Rocker Partners and Gradient Analytics engaged in libel and unfair business practices as well as unfair competition and negligent publication, the allegations raised in the original Aug. 11 lawsuit. The additional five counts were filed late Wednesday afternoon in Superior Court of California for Marin County.
