U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETFs Saw About $175.6 Million of Net Inflows on October 13 as Spot Ether ETFs Turned Positive

HedgeCo.Net — U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded about $175.6 million of net inflows on Monday, October 13, according to flow tallies reported by CryptoBriefing and by SatoshiNakamoto.TV and Coinomedia citing Farside-style data. Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) led with roughly $103.1 million, while BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) added about $65.9 million.

Spot ether ETFs also turned positive, taking in about $24.8 million and ending an approximately 10-session streak of outflows, based on the same flow reports. A same-day rebound in both bitcoin and ether products is often read as a thaw in risk appetite after a stretch of redemptions, though single-session prints can reverse quickly.

The leadership flip is notable. Earlier in October, IBIT had absorbed outflows on some sessions while other funds were flat; Monday’s print put Fidelity at the front of creations, with BlackRock still contributing a sizable share. That mix points to broad participation rather than a one-fund anomaly.

Flow data remain a high-frequency sentiment gauge for crypto-exposed hedge funds and multi-strategy desks. Sustained creations in the largest bitcoin funds, especially when paired with a break in ether ETF outflows, would argue that institutional channel demand is stabilizing after the month’s choppier stretch.

For allocators, one strong day does not reset the month. The useful follow-through will be whether FBTC and IBIT keep printing creations and whether ether products can string together several positive sessions after the roughly 10-day outflow run. Until then, Monday’s $175.6 million bitcoin and $24.8 million ether totals are best treated as a constructive but provisional signal.
