HedgeCo.net – NEW YORK, November 21, 2006 — Broadreach Group, a global talent agency with offices in New York, London, and a new office in Tokyo, today announced that it has acquired 100% of Corcoran Partners, a New York-based executive search firm that focuses on placing derivatives and hedge fund talent. John Jaensich, Corcoran’s founder, joins Broadreach Group’s New York office as a senior partner, according to Brian Grover, founder and managing partner.

Broadreach also announced the opening of an office in Tokyo. The new office will be managed and led by two partners; Andy Walsh, a long-time equity derivatives veteran and former recruiter at Option Group, and Brendan Morris, who was formerly a partner in The Ingenium Group. Together, Messrs. Walsh and Morris bring over 30 years of experience in Asia, most of it in Tokyo, and have an extensive knowledge of, and contacts in and across Asian cash and derivatives markets, investment banking, and private equity.
