HedgeCo.net — New York, NY – November 14, 2006 — Hathersage Capital Management today announced that it has hired Rob Schmidt as Director of Information Technology.
Mr. Schmidt, 47, is responsible for the planning, design, implementation and utilization of the company’s information infrastructure. He will ensure the timely and robust delivery of IT servicesthroughout the organization, from market data feeds at the trading desk, to management controls in the back office, to client reporting on the corporate web site. He reports to Lewis Broad, Presidentand Director of Administration and Compliance for Hathersage.

Mr. Schmidt was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Utopian Constructs, an information technology consultancy he founded in 1994. Prior to that, he was a field engineer at SchlumbergerLimited providing technical services to the petroleum industry in the Middle and Far East. He graduated from the University of Oxford, England with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics.
