Reuters – London hedge fund firm Autonomy Capital Group has hired Scott Nelson, formerly the chief operating officer of Deephaven Capital Management, the latest hire to bolster the $1.3 billion firm’s management team, people familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.
Nelson will be a senior manager responsible for business development and investor relations. Autonomy in July added Greg Burnes of DiMaio Ahmad Capital as global investment operations head; and Norman Kabir, chief architect of Merrill Lynch’s global proprietary trading group, as technology head.
