(CNBC) Stock futures hovered near the flatline on Wednesday after the major averages built on their strong rally to end 2023. S&P 500 futures inched 0.05% higher, while Nasdaq 100 futures inched higher by 0.13%. Futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 12 points, or 0.03%.
